Andrae’ Melancon
Litigation Manager
As a head paralegal at Raburn Kaufman, Andrae Melancon works closely with our attorneys and clients to help ensure that each matter is handled thoughtfully and efficiently. From assisting with case preparation and organizing important documents to communicating with clients and managing the many details behind the scenes, Andrae approaches every responsibility with care, professionalism, and attention to detail. Andrae understands that contacting a law firm often comes during a difficult or uncertain time, so she strives to make clients feel comfortable, heard, and supported throughout the legal process. Building genuine relationships with clients and being someone they can rely on is one of the most rewarding parts of her job.
Andrae was a lifelong member of the Lafayette community before settling in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. A proud graduate of Teurlings Catholic High School, Andrae had deep roots in Acadiana and a genuine appreciation for the people and community that have always been home.
Andrae earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology in 2012 from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. This educational background provides a unique perspective that combines an understanding of the legal system with an appreciation for the human side of each client’s circumstances.
Outside of work, Andrae enjoys spending time outdoors and attending sporting events with her two sons, Thomas & Lucas.
