Jonathan Raburn

Jonathan Raburn is the Managing Partner at Raburn Kaufman and has over twenty years of legal experience. The primary focus of his practice focuses on Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) litigation, with an emphasis on mixed credit files, inaccurate deceased notations, and general credit reporting error cases. Mr. Raburn is a member of the National Association of Consumer Attorneys (NACA) and is the Chairman for the State of Louisiana. 

As managing partner at Raburn Kaufman, Jonathan is constantly looking for new and better ways to represent consumers and measures success by whether a client’s name, credit, and future are secure and free of errors, as is their right under the FCRA. Jonathan’s goal is simple: hold the credit bureaus accountable, correct inaccuracies, and provide his clients with the peace of mind they deserve.

Jonathan earned his undergraduate degree in Marketing from Louisiana State University in Shreveport and went on to obtain his Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center. 

When Jonathan is not practicing law, his focus is on his family. He and his wife stay busy with their son and look forward to coaching his T-ball and Bitty Ball teams. The family enjoys attending LSU football, basketball, and baseball games, as well as gymnastics meets. Jonathan and his wife are members of the Tiger Athletic Foundation (TAF) and are proud members of The Oaks, TAF’s philanthropic and leadership group.

Outside of LSU activities, the family enjoys traveling abroad, especially to locations with beautiful beaches, and introducing their son to new cultures. At home, they enjoy spending time with their three rescue dogs, feeding the geese and ducks around their backyard, and cooking and grilling in Jonathan’s outdoor kitchen.
